About the volunteer session

Join us at the weekend in the Walled Garden, home to Grow for Life. These fortnightly sessions are to help keep the garden working well for the weekly therapeutic gardening sessions. As a 'Friend of Grow for Life' your practical support will be invaluable as we undertake tasks that the weekly gardeners aren't able to complete, including weeding, compost making, and watering.

No need to commit to each fortnightly session. Just turn up when you can. Thinking of joining, come along and try out a session. No need to book.

Things to know

​

• The sessions will be led by a rotating team from Grow for Life and volunteers.
   

• Do bring a snack and a drink for our mid-session break time, and seasonally appropriate outdoor clothing.
   

• Parking onsite is available and there are toilets.
