So plans progress with the walled garden in Newton St Loe: after the major clearance by trainees and volunteers the space is now ready to accept our neighbour’s pigs from Newton St Loe Farm.
We are delighted to see the pigs set to work getting to know their new space and starting to rootle and dig.
Pigs are an organic approach to clearing the garden, as we don’t wish to use chemicals.
Once the pigs have turned over the ground we’ll roll up our sleeves in Spring and get planting…
